Corrections Policy

We work hard to get the data right. But mistakes happen. When they do, we fix them fast and we fix them publicly.

How to report an error. If you find a mistake in our data, analysis, or conclusions, email us. Include a link to the page with the error and, if possible, a link to the source that shows the correct information. We take every report seriously.

How we handle corrections. We’ll investigate within 24 hours and publish a correction within 48 hours if the error is confirmed. Every correction includes what was wrong, what we changed, and when we changed it.

Correction log. We log all corrections publicly on this page so you can see our track record. Transparency isn’t optional for a site like this. It’s the whole point.
